Pinterest Widget: Board Widget
The Board Widget component of the Pinterest widget allows you to feature an individual board on your campaign.
Have a pin board of featured photos? What about fan-generated content? Share those boards with the Board Widget! Whether you’re sharing inspiration for a photo contest, or simply some of your best Pinterest content, the Board widget makes it easy to share your board with your Facebook fans.
Just follow these simple steps, and your campaign will be Pinterest-ready in no time!
Let’s make sure we’re on the same page…
Make sure that you:
- are logged into your Heyo account.
- have the campaign you want to edit opened.
- have the “Add Widgets” tab selected at the top of the right-hand toolbar.
For this tutorial, you will need access to your company’s RSS feed and the RSS feed URL.
Step 1: Drag and drop the Twitter widget anywhere on your campaign canvas. This will initially create a Pinterest follow button on your campaign.
For a pin board, click ‘Board widget’ in the widget options.
Note: If you do not see these options, just click on the follow button again. The options will be on the right-hand side of the screen.
Note: You can resize the Board Widget by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner of the widget box. You can move the widget by clicking on the widget box and dragging it into place.
Step 2: Add the URL to your specific pin board to the Board URL field.
Step 3: Adjust the width of your pins by changing the number in the ‘Individual Image Width’ field.
Step 4: Click “Save Changes” in the bottom left corner of the widget toolbar.
Awesome! Your Pin board is ready for display!
