This widget allows you to quickly to add an image to your campaign. Quality images are an awesome way to capture your fans’ attention. Images posted on Facebook engage the user more than any other form of media.
Whether you’re selling a product or running a contest, having images as part of your campaign is an absolute must. Just follow the steps below and you’ll be adding images like a pro!
First, let’s make sure we’re on the same page…
Make sure that you:
- are logged into your Heyo account
- have the campaign you’d like to edit opened
- have the “Content” tab selected at the top of the right-hand toolbar
Step 1: Drag and drop the Images widget anywhere in your campaign canvas; this will create a size-adjustable widget-box.
Note: After you’ve placed your widget on the canvas, the toolbar on the right will change to display some options. If you don’t see these options just click your Image widget to bring them up. You can also size your widget by dragging its bottom-right corner, or delete it with the ‘X’ button.
Step 2: Click the “Upload” button to grab an image from your computer. You can also link to an image by pasting its URL in the field provided but remember to use a secure (https) link so it doesn’t get blocked as “mixed content.”
Note: Images should be PNG or JPG format, and not larger than 2MB. You can also size your image by typing the exact pixel sizes in the “Width” and “Height” fields; otherwise, these fields will just display the size you dragged your image to.
Note: You have the option to add a hyperlink to your image but it’s not required.
Step 3: Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the toolbar.
All done! Your image is now ready to be viewed and admired by fans!
One last note: If you ever need to make changes to your image, don’t worry! You can always come back to manage your widget simply by clicking on it!
Please Note: Browsers now block “mixed content” by default.
This means that unsecure (http) content will not display on secure (https) pages, like Heyo and Facebook, without the user’s permission. Be sure to use https URLs to ensure your content always displays correctly!
