If you’re reading this, you may have run into a pop-up that reads “Your account has reached the campaign limit. It’s time to upgrade!”
“I just started my trial and haven’t even had a chance to launch anything!” you respond, or “I just upgraded! Why am I seeing this message?” you might say. Sorry for all the confusion! There’s no need to worry, I’ll explain.
That message is referring to the campaign limit that comes with your plan. If you bought our regular “Business Plan” – that limit is 3 campaigns. You can edit, publish, delete, and recreate these campaigns an unlimited number of times so long as your have no more than 3 created at once.
Note: the trial also has a 3-campaign limit and is identical to the Business Plan with the exception of the 7-day free period.
Now, you may not remember creating 3 campaigns, and that’s for good reason. When you first log into your account, Heyo automatically creates a new business and a new campaign for you called “new business” and “new campaign” respectively. However, Heyo always takes you directly into the editor to get to work when a campaign is created so it’s easy to miss that process.
Hitting the orange “create a campaign” button also creates a campaign and take’s you directly to the editor. So, if you logged into Heyo and have hit that orange “create a campaign” button a few times while playing around, you no doubt hit the “campaign limit” message.
You can always tell how many campaigns you have created by looking at your dashboard. In the example below, there are three brand new “blank” campaigns waiting to be edited. You can also delete them with the drop-down arrow to the right of the “Edit” button.
If you are getting that upgrade pop-up and only see one or two campaigns, you may have multiple businesses created with extra campaigns in them. You can navigate to another business by using the “Select a Business” drop down menu at the top of your dashboard. Sometimes, there’s a generic business and campaign hiding in there!
If none of the above explanation has solved this mystery for you, it’s possible there is an incorrect limit setting on your account; in that case, just email us and we can fix that.
Now, if three campaigns isn’t enough room for you to flex your social media muscle, just email us at support@heyo.com and we can customize an upgrade to fit your needs.
