When you publish a campaign with Heyo, a tab will appear on your Facebook fan page. With the changes Facebook has made to the look of business pages and fan pages, it can be hard to figure out how to prominently display your Heyo campaign on your fan page.
First off, let’s take a look at where the campaign ends up once published. You can find the campaign under the ‘More’ drop down menu in the tabs at the top of the fan page.
You can also find the campaign under the Apps box on your timeline. The box here will have your campaign thumbnail displayed. You can edit the campaign thumbnail on the ‘Save and Preview’ page in Heyo.
Apps should display by default, as the Heyo app will automatically be added as an ‘Added App’. If it does not display, go to settings….
…click on apps, and ensure that your campaign is in the ‘Added App’ section.
Once you’ve double checked that the app is in your ‘Added Apps’ section, you may need to move the Apps section to prominantly display on your fan page. To move the Apps box, hover over one of the boxes displayed and click on the pencil that says manage, and click ‘Manage Sections.’
Click and drag the box that says ‘Apps’ to the desired location.
Note: You cannot move any section about the ‘info’ and ‘about’ sections.
That’s all there is to it! You campaign should display in your fan page sidebar. Remember, the contest will always display in the tabs at the top of the page!
