The Facebook widget let’s you feature a post using the Embedded Post feature. This widget let’s you display a single post from your Facebook feed.
Say you have a post from a while back that you want to feature on your campaign; you could use Facebook’s messy embed code, or your could bring the post URL to Heyo and let the Facebook widget do the work. The Embedded Posts widget takes your post URL and creates a display of the post without the need for copy/pasting codes.
Just follow these simple steps to embed your posts the easy way!
Make sure that you:
Step 1: Drag and drop the Facebook Share widget anywhere in your campaign canvas; this will add a “like” button to your campaign.
To display an embedded post, click ‘Embedded Post’ in the drop down list in the widget menu. This will create a size-adjustable widget box for the embedded post. You can change the size of the box by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner of the widget box.
Note: If you don’t see the widget options, you can get to them by clicking the embedded post again.
Step 2: Click and drag the embedded post where you want it on the campaign and enter the URL for the post you would like to embed in the widget options.
Step 3: Click “Save Changes” in the lower left-hand corner of the settings toolbar.
Quick Note: If you want to change the post featured on your campaign, that’s not a problem! Just go back into the Heyo editor, open up the widget options, and change the post URL. It’s that easy!
