The Comment stream component of the Facebook widget allows you to feature a single stream of comments from a post elsewhere on your time line.
So, you want to feature some new content from your website on your campaign. Why not let fans engage with that content by adding a Comment stream? Not only will this allow you to get feedback on new announcements and content, but fans will be actively engaged with your product, and feel that their voices are heard!
Just follow these simple steps to open up your campaigns to your fans’ comments!
Make sure that you:
Step 1: Drag and drop the Facebook Share widget anywhere in your campaign canvas; this will add a “like” button to your campaign.
For a comment stream, click ‘Comment Stream’ in the drop down list in the widget menu. This will create a size-adjustable widget box, which you can change by dragging the lower right corner of the widget box.
Note: If you don’t see the widget options, you can get to them by clicking the widget box again.
Step 2: Click and drag the Comment stream where you’d like it and enter the URL for the desired comment stream in the widget options. This will open up the comment box, much like the one’s on Facebook.
Note: I recommend testing out the widget before publishing your campaign. You can do this by clicking ‘Save & Preview’ in the bottom right corner of the campaign editor; this will bring you to the preview page.
Below is an example of the comment stream in action, using the trial in preview.
Step 3: Click “Save Changes” in the lower left-hand corner of the settings toolbar.
