Button Widget

Finally, buttons for the rest of us. The Button Widget allows you to create all new buttons for whatever you may need! Want to send fans to your website, or let them email you? Not a problem! All you have to do is connect a URL or email to the Button Widget, and it will be able to quickly connect fans to your business!

Just follow these simple instructions, and you’ll be creating buttons in no time.

First, let’s make sure we’re on the same page.

Make sure that you:

• are logged into your Heyo account
• have the campaign you’d like to edit opened
• have the “Content” tab selected at the top of the right-hand toolbar

Step 1: Drag and drop the Button Widget anywhere in your campaign canvas; this will add a customizable button to your campaign. Below, I am placing the button over a Rich Text Widget.

Note: The button is not size adjustable, so make sure your Call to Action is short (1 to 2 words). To move the button around the campaign canvas, click the center of the button and drag it to the desired location.

Step 2: Once the button is placed, you can customize it using the widget options on the right hand side of the screen. First, connect the button to a URL or Email address using the first field.

Note: If you don’t see the widget options on the right, just click on the button; the options will open up.

Step 3: After connecting the button to a URL or Email address, you can change the button’s text and how the button looks using the widget options.

Note: Border radius controls how rounded the button is – if you want a square shaped button, you’ll need to move the radius slider closer to 0.

Step 4: Click “Save Changes” in the lower left-hand corner of the settings toolbar.

All set! Now you can create custom buttons in a snap!
