This widget allows you to pull your Twitter Profile into your campaign. The feed will automatically update with your latest tweets, ensuring that your fans have the latest information connected to your campaign. The widget also includes a follow button, so that your fans can follow your tweets from the campaign.
Just follow these simple steps, and your tweets will be syndicating in no time!
Make sure that you:
For this tutorial, you will need access to your company’s RSS feed and the RSS feed URL.
Step 1: Drag and drop the Twitter widget anywhere on your campaign canvas; this will initially create a tweet button on your campaign canvas.
To display a Twitter profile, select the ‘Profile Stream’ option in the widget options to use the Profile Stream. This will create a size-adjustable widget box, which you can adjust by clicking and dragging the lower right-hand corner of the stream.
Step 2: In the widget options, enter your Twitter widget code.
Note: You should see these options open up on the right side of the screen. If you don’t see these options, you can get to them by clicking the widget again.
Note: If you don’t have a Twitter widget or code, follow the link in the options to create one. I’ve provided a quick set of step-by-step images (captured from the Twitter Widget pages) below to walk you through this. Twitter also provides a more detailed description of the widget.
In Twitter: Click the “Create New” button to create a new widget.
Enter your Twitter handle (ours is @heyo), and change the options to your satisfaction. Twitter will generate a code for you after you save changes.
In the Widget Options: Copy the code and paste it into the code field in the Twitter Feed widget options, as shown in below.
Step 3: Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom left-hand corner of the settings toolbar.
