This widget allows you to drop format-able text anywhere in your campaign. Use the Rich Text widget to make sure your fans get the valuable information they need. Lay out the rules and guidelines for a contest or simply share the details and goals of your business.
Whatever the case may be, Rich Text makes it easy to ensure your fans are tuned in to what you’re trying to say. Just follow the steps below to add some stylish text to your campaign!
Make sure that you:
Step 1: Drag and drop the Rich Text widget anywhere in your campaign canvas; this will create a widget-box that you can move around and resize.
Note: After you place the widget, several formatting options will appear in the right-side toolbar. If you don’t see these options just click on the Rich Text widget to bring them up. Adjust the size of your widget by dragging its bottom-right corner, or delete it with the ‘X’ button.
Step 2: Type your text in the field provided. Use the formatting tools to choose the font, size, color, and alignment of your text; these are just a few of the options available to you.
Note: Below, I’ve used some more formatting options in addition to the ones I mentioned in Step 3 – I’ve added a hyperlink, bullets, background color, and even inserted a picture! Go ahead and take the formatting tools for a test drive to see what else they can do.
Note: If you find that the text-field is a bit cramped, you can get plenty more room by clicking the full-screen option. You can also click the html option if you would like to work with the code directly.
Step 3: Click the “Save Changes” button located at the bottom of the page.
One last note: If you ever need to make changes to your text, don’t worry! You can always come back to manage your widget simply by clicking on it!
This means that unsecure (http) content will not display on secure (https) pages, like Heyo and Facebook, without the user’s permission. Be sure to use https URLs to ensure your content always displays correctly!
